Youtube Interface in Flex — FxTube
This code is not working . New version is available here
http://subeesh.wordpress.com/2009/02/02/flex-youtube-interface
I am trying to create a youtube interface in Adobe Flex. Click here to view the initial stage.
This is done using the Youtube data API available here ( Thanks to Martin for his invaluable contribution ).
I have used the video player from fxcomponents ( Thanks again )
Thanks to Abdul Qabiz for his post regarding Constructing FLV url .
The full credit goes to Martin for his API.
There are a lot of bugs in the system currently. I will try to fix those issue and try to include some more features when i get time.
Click >here to view the application in its initial stage.
Cool

Hi Ben ,
I am not loading the swf here , in the videoplayer , the flv file from youtube is played directly. When we change the video , the source of the videoplayer is changed to the new flv file

Hi Subeesh,
I am trying to play youtube content but does not work, giving conn error, do you know what could be the cause, I simply deployed your code as it is.
Thanks a lot,
Gines
